Afro-Fitness If you want to get fit and have fun at the same time, Afro Fitness is for you!!! It will also help you understand and appreciate Cuban music and interpret it through dance. Experience Traditional and Popular Cuban Dance in one. Discover for yourself that this is just what you need. From Dance through to Fitness, there is something for everyone!!! Cuban Dance encompasses the traditional Afro-Cuban and Rumba dance styles with its origin in African culture and music, moving to modern Cuban dance such as Son, Cha cha cha, Mambo and Salsa. Cuban Dance is a rich mixture of Afro-Cuban dance influenced by African roots and contemporary Cuban Dances influenced by other dance styles. Studio Cubano will improve your dance style through the combination of body isolation and movement and music interpretation through dance. Our classes will use live music to help participants understand and appreciate Cuban music and interpret it in their dance.

| Level Criteria | ||||
| Level 1 – Beginner – no previous experience | ||||
| Level 2 - Intermediate students and beginners with previous experience. Knowledge of body movement and understanding of rhythm. | ||||
| Level 3 – Have skills in movement of the upper part of the body. Be able to interpret the music and have knowledge of three Afro-Cuban Dances and Rumba. | ||||
| Level 4 - Enough knowledge to interpret five Afro-Cuban dances, Rumba and three Cuban Popular Dances. | ||||
